Evolution Gaming is the best live casino studio in the industry – that’s a fact. It’s the creator of innovative titles such as Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time and has inspired many others to follow their dreams. A week ago, Evolution release the financial report for the first six months in 2022, and as expected, it’s as fantastic as it gets.

Everything from operating revenue to profit is up until June 2022 compared to the previous year. Which isn’t surprising. The studio has acquired big performers in the last couple of years which have certainly helped build revenue.

Many Significant Milestones

CEO Martin Carlesund congratulated all of Evolution Gaming’s employees for the formidable first half of the year and hopes to see them do even better in the second half of 2022. He said that the achievements are “nothing but fantastic”, but what’s more important are the many significant milestones for Evolution Gaming as a company.

This year, Evolution opened a new studio in the regulated Ontario market that’s expected to deliver amazing results. It also opened a new studio in Spain (Madrid), another one in Yerevan, and launched its portfolio in West Virginia and New Jersey. Expansion is obviously at the forefront of Evolution’s long-term goals. The new studios and expansion have resulted in 1,000 new employees, so it’s clear that the company is moving forward.

What stands out this year in terms of studio acquisitions is Evolution Gaming’s buyout of NoLimit City. Slot lovers have surely heard the name. It’s the most exciting studio in the industry of the past year or so, delivering intense slots that pay stunning sums of money. Among them are Punk Rocker, East Coast vs. West Coast, The Rave, and the horrifying Mental.

NLC isn’t your typical slot provider, and its rise to glory has caught the eye of Evolution Gaming. While NoLimit City doesn’t release live dealer games, it perfectly suits Evolution’s needs.

Cranking the Numbers Up

If you don’t believe what the company says, let’s take a look at the numbers.

Q2 2021January-June 2022

As you can obviously see for yourself, the numbers are up by over 30%, and up to 100% in some cases. In a highly challenging market and world, those cranked-up numbers are nothing short of amazing. It shows that Evolution never sits idle. It recognizes talent and works to build better games and features that ultimately delight players.

Best Live Casinos For Your Country

Whether it’s live casino games or buying studios such as NoLimit City that will grow under Evolution’s toutelage, Evolution is always strengthening its hold of the market. Add to that the already impressive live dealer portfolio, and it’s clear who the king is.

And we’re glad for Evolution’s growth. Its games are not among the best, but the best one in our opinion. Try Lightning Roulette and you’ll see what we mean.
